The McDermott group is seeking an HSEQ Advisor based in Perth, Scotland, to uphold high standards in health, safety, environmental protection, and quality management.

* HSEQ Officer
* Holidays: 30 days, with an additional day per year of service up to 5 days, plus a holiday buy-back scheme of 5 days.

Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Coordinate with HSEQ auditors to acquire and maintain company accreditations.
* Create, monitor, and update procedures within the Quality Management System.
* Provide guidance and training to employees and management on HSEQ matters to ensure legal compliance.
* Plan and conduct audits, documenting findings and implementing best practices.
* Deliver relevant training to internal staff.
* Ensure company processes meet their objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Promote customer focus and maintain the integrity of the HSEQ management system.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop safe operational procedures.
* Perform regular site inspections to ensure policy adherence.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and develop health and safety policies.
* Lead in-house training on QHSE topics.
* Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and produce reports.
* Stay updated on legislation and industry developments.
* Manage the safe handling and disposal of hazardous substances.
* Advise on specialist areas such as fire regulations and occupational diseases.
* Manage emergency procedures, signage, PPE, and COSHH controls.
* Hold NEBOSH General or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrate passion and knowledge in HSEQ subjects.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* Possess strong knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and DSE regulations.
* Have auditor training/experience.
* Be a proactive implementer of processes and change.
* Hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel.
