Duties as a History Teacher:
* Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
* Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and challenge students.
* Promote historical thinking, source analysis, and independent enquiry.
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities such as trips, clubs, and themed days.
* Support student progress through high-quality feedback and effective differentiation.
Ideal History Teacher:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
* Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine love of History.
* Can foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Is committed to raising attainment and aspirations for all students as a History Teacher.
* Is collaborative, reflective, and ready to contribute to wider school life.
