As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced Bid & Tender Writer to help us secure new business opportunities, manage compliance frameworks, and strengthen our presence across both public and private sectors.
You're a confident, detail-driven communicator with proven experience in bid or tender writing, ideally within a regulated or service-driven sector such as transport, construction, or fleet.
Essential skills and experience:
* Proven success in bid or tender writing for public or private sector frameworks.
* Understanding of procurement and accreditation processes (e.g. Achilles, Vantify, Constructionline).
* Excellent written communication and editing skills, with a strong eye for detail.
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
* Comfortable using modern digital tools and platforms to support efficient bid development and document management.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
Requirements
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll take ownership of U-Drive's bid, tender, and accreditation processes — ensuring we remain competitive, compliant, and well positioned for future growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Writing and managing high-quality bid and tender submissions for frameworks such as TPPL, CCS, ESPO, and many more.
* Identifying, managing, and reviewing multiple tender portals to ensure all opportunities are captured.
* Overseeing company registrations and profiles on industry-specific accreditation platforms such as Achilles, Vantify, and Constructionline.
* Working collaboratively with Operations, Fleet, Health & Safety, HR, and other teams to ensure all policies, processes, and accreditations remain compliant and up to date.
* Producing persuasive, well-structured written responses that clearly demonstrate U-Drive's value proposition.
* Monitoring procurement trends, frameworks, and upcoming opportunities in key sectors.
