Laboratory Technician – Bank Staff
Location: Sutton
Remuneration: £12.00–£14.00 per hour (DOE)
Transport: Excellent public transport links by bus and train; shuttle bus from Sutton Station available.
Shift pattern: Ad‑hoc days and hours with occasional evening cover. Busiest days are Monday through Wednesday, with Thursday coverage likely in the future.
Responsibilities
* Process human blood/plasma samples.
* Collect data, pipette, centrifuge, separate plasma/blood cells, aliquot, prepare lab solutions, manage equipment.
* Maintain strong and accurate record‑keeping; accuracy is paramount.
Qualifications
* Good communication skills and understanding of scientific laboratory processes.
* Experience working in clinical trial or hospital laboratories is preferred.
* Understanding that these are non‑full‑time, ad‑hoc 'bank' positions.
