The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving growth across the B&I sector, identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and winning contracts that reflect their values and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new B&I catering opportunities with corporate clients across the Midlands
* Manage the full sales cycle — from initial approach and needs analysis through to proposal, tender, and contract award
* Build meaningful, long-term relationships with decision-makers, consultants, and FM partners
* Collaborate closely with culinary, operations, and marketing teams to craft compelling, client-focused solutions
* Stay ahead of workplace trends — from sustainability and wellbeing to flexible dining formats — to shape winning proposals
* Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums
About You
You’ll be a confident communicator and strategic thinker who thrives on building relationships and delivering results.
Essential skills & experience:
* Proven track record in B&I contract catering sales or business development
* Strong understanding of the corporate workplace catering market
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
* A consultative, solutions-focused approach to selling
* Passion for food, people, and innovation
* Self-motivated, commercially astute, and target-driven
