We are recruiting on behalf of a successful construction company for an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team. This role is primarily focused on Accounts Payable with additional month-end reporting and general finance administration. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fun and exciting business.
Accounts Assistant Job Duties
Process Accounts Payable transactions accurately
Manage invoice approval trails and support weekly supplier payment runs
Complete supplier statement reconciliations
Assist with month-end reporting
Maintain internal finance trackers and documentation
Provide administrative support to the finance team
Work collaboratively to ensure smooth financial operations
Accounts Assistant Experience and Skills
Previous experience in Finance, ideally in Accounts Payable or Accounts Assistant roles
Experience within construction or groundworks finance is preferred
Proficient with QuickBooks and SAGE
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
