As a trainee Semi-Skilled Assembler at Honeywell, in Redditch, you will learn to work in a clean, air-conditioned environment manufacturing low volume miniature cooling devices. The main purpose of this role is to carry out assembly, test and inspection in accordance with company procedures and requirements.
This position will be working at Honeywell Hymatic in Redditch, who are celebrating 88 years of trading this year.
Our working hours (total 37 hours per week) are:
Mon to Thu 8 till 16.45 or 17.00 (option break length)
Fri 8 till 12.00
This role is also eligible for overtime paid at a premium rate should the candidate be willing to work additional hours.

Key responsibilities:
You will have a buddy assigned to you and work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience within a friendly and supportive team to be trained to achieve the following:
1. Assemble, test and inspect components and products in accordance to drawings or other specification requirements
2. Many components are small, so you’ll be utilising your manual dexterity, and even working with microscopes in some cases
3. Accurately complete all relevant documentation
4. Perform all tasks in accordance with safe methods of work and complying with all appropriate health & safety guidelines and legislation
5. To work effectively as an individual or as a team
6. To proactively participate in continuous Improvement
Key skills and qualifications:
No Experience in assembly is required for this role; it’s all about your attitude, and manual dexterity.
