The school has 65 teaching staff, with departments organized under the guidance of a Principal Teacher Curriculum responsible for each curricular area.
We are seeking a Teacher of English, including Media, to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure a high-quality student experience that aligns with curricular design principles and student entitlements, aiming to maximize achievement and attainment for all. Requirements
West Lothian Council is committed to innovative education delivery, supporting staff development and service improvement, demonstrated by their achievement of the Investors in People Standard.
A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will need to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment, with costs covered by the candidate.
The fee for Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
