We are recruiting an AML Analyst to work within our General Counsel’s Office. The General Counsel's Office (GCO) aims to “enable safely,” providing risk, regulatory, and legal advice to ensure the firm achieves its economic, operational, and strategic objectives in compliance with applicable laws and within its risk appetite.
This role is part of the Regulatory Team within the GCO, supporting compliance with legal and regulatory obligations related to AML/KYC, sanctions, and conflicts of interest.
The Regulatory Team operates regionally, and this role will primarily focus on the local region, but support across all jurisdictions where we operate may be required.
Our standard working hours are 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, with flexibility considered upon request.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Onboarding new clients
* Conducting money laundering checks and risk assessments to ensure compliance with AML legislation and firm policies
* Seeking approval for high-risk clients and matters
* Performing business intelligence searches, including public profiles, electronic screening, and databases
* Verifying information provided by requesting teams
* Handling onboarding inquiries from the business
* Analyzing potential conflicts of interest
* Building good rapport with other departments
* Understanding of the firm's client base
* Participating actively in team meetings
