About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Clinical Administrator to support our Specialist Mental Health Services team with secretarial, reception, and administrative duties. This role is vital for supporting clinicians and ensuring high-quality service delivery to tāngata whaiora and whānau.

Key Responsibilities
* Administrative & Secretarial Support: Provide confidential secretarial support using Winscribe and other tools; complete templates and Healthlinks documentation; draft correspondence; maintain patient files and meeting minutes; process mail and liaise with external agencies.
* Reception & Communication: Greet visitors professionally; manage telephone enquiries; relay messages promptly; maintain confidentiality.
* Team Support & Coordination: Manage diaries; support clinicians with workload prioritisation; stay updated with system and technology use.
* Service Contribution: Foster a positive team environment; communicate effectively with clinicians, consumers, and the public; work flexibly under pressure.
About you
What We’re Looking For
* Proven receptionist/telephonist and administrative experience.
* Advanced word processing skills, minimum 60+ wpm.
* Strong multi-tasking, prioritisation, and time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Calm, professional manner handling sensitive situations.
* Current NZ driver’s licence.
* Commitment to confidentiality and teamwork.
Desirable
* Experience in mental health or healthcare settings.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
