New Way Tuition is searching for compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Outreach Tutors to support young people who can’t access mainstream education. We deliver bespoke, 1-to-1 learning across Essex in student's homes or local libraries, working with students from Early Years through to Year 11. Our learners may be managing a range of challenges—such as SEN, SEMH needs, or risk of exclusion—and they need tutors who are patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping them thrive. Your role will include: ✅ Delivering personalised lessons in English, Maths, and PSHE ✅ Supporting emotional wellbeing and life skills ✅ Mentoring students to boost confidence and independence ✅ Teaching in safe, familiar settings like homes, libraries, and schools You’ll need to bring: * Strong subject knowledge in core areas * Experience with young people, especially in alternative or SEN settings * A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) * Reliability, resilience, and a calm, nurturing approach Whether you’re a qualified teacher, mentor, youth worker, or experienced TA, we welcome applicants with the heart and drive to help students reconnect with learning.
