The Role
As a Supply Design & Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining positive classroom environments and supporting students in reaching their potential.
Subjects may include:
* Resistant Materials
* Product Design
* Food Technology
* Engineering
* Graphics
* General DT
Assignments can range from:
* Day-to-day cover
* Short-term placements
* Long-term opportunities
* Potential permanent positions
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons
* Follow school lesson plans and curriculum
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Inspire and motivate students
* Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs
* Ensure student safety within practical classroom environments
* Mark work where required and provide feedback

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism or experience teaching Design & Technology
* Strong classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Passion for education and student development
* Ability to travel to local schools
Driving Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, due to travel between schools and varying locations.
