Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our agency team, supporting a reputable nursery in the Cwmbran area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and confident working within a busy, supportive nursery environment, using their knowledge of childcare practices and early years curriculum planning to deliver high-quality care and education.
Key Responsibilities
5. Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, including planning and implementing engaging activities
6. Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment while ensuring the health and safety of all children
7. Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, outdoor play, and rest periods
8. Communicating effectively with staff, children, and parents to build strong relationships
9. Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and adhering to nursery policies and procedures
Required Skills & Experience
10. Level 3 Early Years qualification ( Diploma in Childcare and Education or Certificate in Early Years Practice)
11. Minimum 6 months UK early years experience
12. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its practical application
