About the role
The job opportunity is for a recently qualified Occupational Therapist to join Elysium Healthcare's Bradley Complex Care service in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The role provides the chance to work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, supporting individuals with complex needs, mental health issues, or personality disorders. The successful candidate will be involved in comprehensive assessments, planning and reviewing treatment programmes, and collaborating with internal and external agencies.
Responsibilities
* Providing comprehensive OT assessments.
* Under supervision, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes.
* Under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies.
* Supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at Bradley Complex Care.
* Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards.
* Planning and facilitating evidence‑based group and individual programmes.
* Creating individual rapports with service users to empower recovery.
Qualifications
* A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* A UK HCPC registration or applied for.
* Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Location and working environment
Location: Bradley Road, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, DN37 0AA. Bradley Complex Care is a specialist service for men and women living with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of learning disability, mental health issue or personality disorder. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support people with complex conditions, needs and risks who display behaviours of concern and pose challenges for services, including those with highly complex and severe challenging behaviour.
Bradley Complex Care is located in Bradley, Grimsby and North East Lincolnshire. The location provides a more relaxed local environment than a busy inner‑city setting to enable patients to engage in their therapeutic programme, thus increasing the pace of recovery and speeding up discharge. Bradley is just 90 minutes by car from York, Sheffield and Mansfield.
