We are seeking to recruit Level 2 or Senior Social Workers for our In Care Team and Life Beyond Care Teams in the West Norfolk and Breckland area, working with Looked After Children and Care Leavers.
We welcome applications from those experienced in working with children and young people in Care, Care-Experienced individuals, Care Leavers, or those with transferable skills from Children’s Social Work.
Applications are also welcomed from those seeking to return to frontline statutory practice.

Through Vital Signs, our vision for children and young people in Norfolk, we collaborate with families, natural networks, and across systems to support strengths and achieve optimal outcomes.
We prioritize children’s preparation for learning, building positive relationships, and receiving family-based care. Norfolk’s social care model is relationship-based, trauma-informed, and incorporates therapeutic approaches to support children, young people, their carers, and families.
Our approach includes a specialist service with Clinicians and Practitioners supporting social care teams to meet needs and improve outcomes for Looked After Children in Norfolk.
Joining our Corporate Parenting Service at this exciting time means engaging in a new way of working that emphasizes preventative work to support emotional wellbeing and aspirations of young people.
Applicants must hold a relevant professional vocational qualification in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England.
Experience in Corporate Parenting or transferable skills, along with the ability to motivate individuals and lead high-performing teams, is essential. Strong leadership and performance management skills during change periods are also required.

We have three full-time permanent positions:
* Two in our In Care Teams, based in Kings Lynn or Dereham.
* One in our Life Beyond Care Team, based in Kings Lynn.
