Fire Alarm Service Engineer - Luton. V7 are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a growing national Fire Alarm company at key sites across Luton, Bedford & North London. Role & Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm and related life safety systems such as Emergency Lighting
* Perform fault-finding, diagnostics and reactive repairs
* Complete testing to BS5839 standards
* Work closely with site facilities and security teams
* Maintain accurate records, service reports and certification
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements
* Provide technical support and advice to site personnel
Experience Required
* Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems (site-based or mobile)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Good understanding of BS5839
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Qualifications
* FIA units preferred but not essential
* Electrical or Fire Alarm qualifications beneficial
* Full right to work in the UK
Working Hours
Monday to Friday (standard day shifts)
