PMO Lead
Bristol
6-month contract
Paying up to £70p/h (Inside IR35)
Responsibilities:
* Leading the functional PMO and being the PMO point of contact, identifying solutions to any issues and taking action to resolve them. Responsibility for answering any PMO related queries.
* Developing the PMO strategy and implementing any associated initiatives.
* Building relationships with Group and senior stakeholders, leading PMO and governance related meetings/ boards and representing Mission Systems at Group level governance meetings.
* Owning the implementation of governance related change and improvements, including templates and guidance. In addition, the implementation and integration of governance/ project assessment tools, functional dashboards, best practice knowledge areas and any other future initiatives.
* Oversight and maintenance of PM governance related GBMS documents along with the transition of documents into Agility.
* Managing the adoption of governance documents that are not currently in use, reviewing and proposing documentation to implement and roll out amongst teams.
Experience required:
* Experience in a similar PMO lead role, project delivery or project controls.
* A significant understanding of project governance and controls, with experience of implementing them on projects.
* Experience of leading and motivating direct and indirect teams and working with varying levels of senior stakeholders.
* Experience of implementing and communicating change across a matrix organisation.
