Are you a Yard Marshall, or perhaps looking to step up and have more responsibility? Are you organised and understand the relationships between warehouse and transport? Are you physically fit and looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a Yard Marshall to join our team working on the British Gypsum contract.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 0900 to 1800, Pay of £14.20 P/H.42.5 hrs per week.We are offering 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:

o Organise and manage yard activities.
o Ensure that all aspects of the yard operation are conducted safely.
o Report unsafe acts and conditions to management team.
o Take reasonable care for your health and safety and that of others.
o Be responsible for good housekeeping including sweeping, cleaning of storage areas and gritting when required.
o Manage XPO contractors in yard areas.
o Complete safety audits.
o Complete daily inspections of vehicle/trailer fleet.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* Must be flexible in working hours to support business needs.
* Previous similar experience would be an advantage.
