What you'll bedoing:
* Driving thedelivery of the test and commissioning plan
* Supporting a team of nuclear mechanical commissioningengineers
* Supporting the Reactor Test Group(RTG), authorising the suite of test documentation
* Authorised Person in the permit to workprocess
* Reviewing engineering outputs anddocuments
* Imbedding learning from experience(LFE)
Your skills andexperiences:
Essential:
* Degree/HNC/HND in an engineering discipline orequivalent experience
* Understanding of NuclearSystem and other associated systems and their testing andcommissioning
* Understanding of overallsubmarine systems and their operation
* Experience supporting and coaching a diverse team incomplexenvironments
* Proficient with IT systems andsoftware (Microsoft products)
* Planning testand commissioning programmes
Desirable:
* Excellent peoplementorship and development skills
* Cat BNuclear Operator or relevant nuclear industry experience (Ideallyfrom a nuclear steam raising plant)
* Experienceof nuclear licensed or COMAH sites
* Embedmentof Learning from Experience (LFE)

The RTS CommissioningTeam:
As a Commissioning ProjectLead – Mechanical, youwill plan and manage atest section and all associated activities, delivering as part ofwider test & commissioning (T&C) programme or projectconsisting of several major engineering systems, commissioningdisciplines, platform assemblies, equipment or software products.This role will provide you the opportunity to be involved inembedding LFE to the rest of the programme and realisation of testcommissioning strategy and provide input to support the deliveryprocess. You will be responsible for a large group of CommissioningEngineers at various levels & disciplines, offering a broadrange of technical skill & knowledge to on a unique projectthat is part of the national endeavour. We offer relocation supportpackages across all Submarines roles, subject to meetingeligibility criteria.
