JOB TITLE: Associate Director - Portfolio Coverage, Real Estate and Housing
LOCATION: London, Edinburgh or Birmingham
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week or 40% of your time at our offices in London, Edinburgh or Birmingham.

Our Real Estate & Housing (RE&H) business is part of the Client Solutions Group (CSG), managing relationships with Corporate and Financial Institution clients. The Portfolio Coverage team supports a diverse, geographically spread client base across Real Estate & Housing, helping unlock growth opportunities and deliver strategic outcomes.
As an Associate Director in Portfolio Coverage, you’ll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to excellent client service and sustainable returns. You’ll manage a large portfolio of UK clients, working closely with Coverage, Product, and Risk partners to implement tailored client strategies. Your work will contribute directly to our RE&H business success.
Key Accountabilities:
* Relationship Management of clients across the UK, covering various sub-sectors of Real Estate & Housing.
* Manage the portfolio in line with credit, conduct, and operational risk requirements.
* Support the financial metrics of the RE&H business, identifying growth opportunities across debt and key product areas.
* Represent the team through effective engagement and collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients, including challenging discussions, to support bank strategy.
* Maintain and grow knowledge of RE&H sectors and bank policies.
* Develop self and team members through proactive oversight and coaching.

What You’ll Need:
* Experience in relationship management within commercial or corporate banking.
* Strong understanding of real estate finance and the financial services landscape.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
* Proactive and organized approach to managing a large, varied client portfolio.
* Sound credit and risk assessment capabilities.
* Collaborative attitude and enthusiasm for coaching and developing colleagues.
