From modular building installation and refurbishment to specialist joinery, fire door installation, roofing, and electrical works, our group of businesses – Instamod Site Services, Instamod Off Site Solutions, Stenergy Electrical, and Duo Joinery – delivers high-quality results with efficiency and reliability.
We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Hull and help us expand our reach, strengthen client relationships, and promote our wide range of services.
The Role
As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving growth across the group. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and promoting our services across the modular construction, electrical, and joinery sectors.
Your focus will be on selling:
* Instamod Site Services – modular building installation, removals, and relocations
* Instamod Off Site Solutions (OSS) – modular building manufacturing and refurbishment
* Stenergy Electrical – commercial/domestic electrical works and solar panel installation
* Duo Joinery – fire door installation, roofing, and fitted bedroom/kitchen solutions
Key Responsibilities
* Generate new business leads and manage the full sales cycle
* Build and maintain strong relationships with modular manufacturers, councils, contractors, and private clients
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling within the group's service lines
* Attend industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities
* Work closely with our directors and commercial team to shape proposals and secure contracts
* Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the group's overall growth strategy
About You
We're looking for someone with a proven track record in business development or sales within construction, modular buildings, or related sectors. You'll be confident in building relationships, driven to succeed, and able to communicate the value of our services clearly.
Essential skills and experience:
* Strong background in sales, business development, or account management
* Experience in construction, modular buildings, or associated trades
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organised
* Full UK driving licence (travel required)
