Salary: £32,000 Per Annum
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (with flexibility for weekends and evening hours/night shifts work as needed)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of both our Southend-on-Sea and Canary Wharf properties. This is a unique opportunity for a versatile hospitality professional to manage and elevate two distinct hotel environments, ensuring each property operates seamlessly and consistently exceeds guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Management: Oversee daily operations for both hotels, ensuring that all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, etc.) function smoothly and efficiently.
* Financial Oversight: Develop, monitor, and report on projected income and expenses for both properties. Implement strategies to optimise revenue and control costs.
* Guest Experience: Ensure a superior guest experience by managing check-ins/outs, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high standards of service.
* Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff. Foster a positive work environment and ensure all team members are aligned with the company’s service standards.
* Compliance: Ensure both hotels comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
* Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate on marketing strategies and promotions to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of both properties.
* Business Development: Develop new business opportunities, build client and corporate relationships, and support sales initiatives to increase occupancy and overall hotel revenue.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, and guest service.
* Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Ability to analyse financial reports and develop strategies for improvement.
* Flexibility to travel between the Southend-on-Sea and Canary Wharf properties as needed. Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
