Project Overview: IQVIA is seeking individuals for a short-term project involving the upgrade of medical devices located in operating theatres and recovery rooms. The project will take place in July, August, and possibly September 2024. As a Clinical Field Trainer, you will collaborate with a Field Service Technician who will upgrade the medical equipment, whilst you will be responsible for training healthcare professionals on the impact of the equipment upgrade.
Job Details:
* Role: Registered Nurse, Clinical Field Trainer (Medical Equipment)
* Duration: Short-term contract
* Location: Hospitals across the UK and Ireland
* Timeframe: July, August, and possibly September 2024
* Compensation: Day rate basis, including travel expenses (funded by IQVIA)
Responsibilities:
* Travel to hospitals and meet with your Field Service Technician colleague for pre-organized upgrades.
* Liaise with relevant hospital departments and key personnel.
* Train the healthcare professionals on the changes to the medical equipment.
* Complete necessary compliance administration procedures.
* Spend approximately 4 hours in each hospital (duration may vary based on the number of upgrades per site).
* Travel to other hospitals if nearby or return home if the next hospital is not within a commutable distance.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Registered Nurse with experience of working in the operating room or recovery room environment.
* Ideally you will have worked in a role where you educate healthcare professionals on the use of medical equipment.
Additional Skills:
* Confidence in providing training to healthcare professionals working in operating theatres or recovery rooms.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Computer literate.
