Position Title: Label Project Engineering Consultant Duration: Contract Location: Warwick Essential Criteria: Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all vehicle labelling and VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) components and documentation for a specific vehicle program. This includes regulatory compliance, packaging, supplier coordination, and on-time integration with the vehicle build process. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, development, and delivery of all labels and VIN plates (e.g., compliance labels, tire pressure, airbag warnings, emission, and VIN tags) for a designated vehicle program. Ensure full compliance with global regulatory requirements (e.g., FMVSS, UNECE, CCC) across all target markets. Interface with cross-functional teams including Legal, Homologation, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Design to ensure feasibility and alignment. Manage supplier communication, part number creation, sourcing, and approval processes. Define and control timing plans, Bill of Materials (BoM), and engineering release schedules. Validate label content, translations, and durability requirements in coordination with validation teams. Support prototype build and launch activities, ensuring timely part delivery and issue resolution. Maintain accurate documentation and release data in PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter). Qualifications & Experience: Engineering degree or equivalent experience in automotive engineering. Previous experience in vehicle compliance, labelling, or systems engineering preferred. Strong understanding of global automotive regulations and homologation processes. Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; PLM and ERP system experience advantageous.
