The Role & Responsibilities You will lead the delivery of Religious Education and Philosophy, focusing on developing students' critical thinking and ethical understanding. Core Instruction: Teaching RE from KS3 through to A-Level, covering world faiths, moral philosophy, and ethics. Curriculum Development: Regularly reviewing and updating schemes of work to ensure they remain intellectually challenging and relevant. Academic Stretching: Leading the school’s Ethics Cup team or Philosophy societies for the Sixth Form. Workload Management: Utilising a generous PPA allowance to ensure high-quality planning and marking for A-Level cohorts. Requirements Education: A solid degree in Theology, Philosophy, or Religious Studies. Status: QTS and a proven track record of teaching to a high standard. Right to Work: Valid right to work in the UK. Salary & Contract Details Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3) Hours: Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start
