Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established and globally respected food manufacturing company in Leicester, known for its strong brand and commitment to quality. Seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased) to join their established engineering team. You’ll play a key role in keeping the operations running smoothly, working across both proactive and reactive maintenance activities.

* 4 on, 4 off shift pattern – rotating days and nights (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities Of a Maintenance Engineer
* Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on plant, equipment, and systems
* Minimise downtime by working towards maximum equipment efficiency
* Support delivery of planned engineering tasks on time and in full
* Maintain documentation and CMMS records accurately
* Collaborate closely with production teams to meet daily targets
* Follow best practices in repair, manufacturing processes, and health & safety
* Contribute to ongoing cost-reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
* Apprenticeship trained engineer
* Recognised qualifications – City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or ideally ONC / HNC
* Multi-skilled with an electrical bias
* Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
* Experience in manufacturing or production environments is essential
