Job Summary
Bee Happy Recruitment are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our Clients culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation.
due to the nature of our clients business this would be a permanent contract with seasonal hours. you will be expected to work more hours in the summer (50) and less in the winter (30) with consistent, Monthly pay.
As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Manage the kitchen in the head chefs absence
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional guest experiences through timely and accurate meal service.
Implement and uphold food safety protocols to guarantee the health and well-being of guests and staff.
Continuously evaluate menu offerings, suggesting improvements or new dishes based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with a thorough understanding of food preparation techniques.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
