Job Description
Job Title: Homecare Support Worker - Maternity Cover
Location: Homecare West - (Central area including but not limited to; Selkirk, Galashiels, Melrose, Peebles, Innerleithen, Lauder, and Earlston)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Temporary for 9 months
Qualifications: SVQ2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential. You can earn whilst you learn!
Training: All training is provided.
Requirements: PVG Adults – we will do this for you! SSSC registered.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.

* Providing person-centred practical and emotional support to empower the people we care for, as outlined in individual support plans.
* Promoting the health and well-being of the people we support and ensuring their needs are met inclusively.
* Supporting, enabling, and involving service users in all aspects of their lives, including personal care, eating, drinking, and mobility if necessary.
* Being responsible for the safe administration of service users’ medication, following relevant training.
