A popular school located in St Albans is interested in securing a PE teacher to join their team on a short-term basis. The school teaches the national curriculum, GCSE, and functional skills. The school is in St Albans, which is within walking distance to a range of transport links, shop,s and amenities.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND PE TEACHER Role
1. To participate in staff development activities provided within the department and the whole school.
2. To deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies, and teaching strategies so that student needs can be met.
3. To report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.
THE RIGHT PE TEACHER WILL BE:
4. Confident with teaching Maths to a GCSE standard
5. Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
6. Eligibility to work in the UK
7. Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
8. A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
