We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, to work with our Group Finance Business Partnering team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career within Finance, with study support to gain a full finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). The position is based at our Whitley, Yorkshire office on a hybrid basis.
What will you be doing?
You will support the Group Finance Business Partnering team in learning and providing analysis of month-end and project costs, helping to drive insight-driven discussions and challenge with key stakeholders. You will be introduced to our financial systems and month-end processes, assisting in their development and automation to enhance insight and action.
The Ideal Candidate
Successful candidates will have an analytical mindset, proficiency in MS Excel, good communication skills, and a proactive approach. No previous experience is required, but familiarity with finance processes, a finance degree, or relevant qualifications are desirable.

Key Tasks
* Ensure accuracy of month-end management accounts
* Support transition of month-end activities to Shared Services
* Assist in reporting, analysis, and KPI development
* Contribute to budgeting and stakeholder management
Skills and Experience
* Strong communication and IT skills, especially MS Excel
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage workload
* Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Commercial awareness and analytical skills
* Proactive and results-driven attitude
Desirable
* Relevant finance qualifications or experience
