Are you passionate about supporting and strengthening Community Groups and improving their wellbeing? Can you help communities build their confidence, skills and knowledge? Can you help bring people, organisations and resources together? We would love to hear from you!
About you
We want people with practical experience of working in the community development field with the ability to deliver support and advice to a wide range of audiences to maximise engagement and benefit. It is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills as well as a knowledge and understanding of providing governance advice to third sector organisations. Developing funding applications and grant monitoring and reporting processes is also essential.

Qualifications / Experience:
Essential
* In the third sector, either as a paid employee or volunteer.
* Practical experience of working in the community development field.
* Ability to deliver support and advice to a wide range of audiences to maximise engagement and benefit.
* Strong ICT skills including the use of Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
* Experience of working in a coordination or management role for a community venue or hub.
* Good working knowledge of the main social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) Training can be provided to support skills in this area.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent or recognised qualification/experience relevant to the post – Community Development / Community Regeneration / Project Management.
