EO2 – BELFAST – CLARE HOUSE
Pay Rate: £15.83 per hour
Location: Belfast, Clare House
Start Date: ASAP
Expected Duration: 4th October 2026 with possibility of extension
Working Hours: 9-5 Monday-Friday
Requirements: 5 GCSE’S C and Above (Including Maths and English), 2 A Levels C and Above

Main Duties include:
1. Financial and contract management role of digital contracts within Digital Services Division. The role may include management of a small number of staff and all associated management responsibilities. The postholders will be working across a range of finance and contract functions and services including;
2. Use of the Account NI system to process Purchase Orders, receipts, and invoices as required;
3. Prepare prepayment return for monthly accounts;
4. Assist with maintenance of Asset register through completion of fixed asset forms;
5. Use of COGNOS to run reports on monthly and Year to Date spend;
6. Update, maintain and assist with reconciliation of internal finance tracker;
7. Track and progress bids for ICT expenditure on internal recording system;
8. Deal with internal and external stakeholders including other teams, Departments and external suppliers;
9. Monitor team mailbox and assist in resolving issues or queries;
10. Process stationery and Office Machinery requests as required;
11. Assist line manager with accurate and timely input to Departmental Submissions to Permanent Secretary and Minister, Assembly Questions, Freedom of Information requests and wider requests for information from key internal and external stakeholders.
12. Adhere to all NICS policies such as Performance Management and Management of Sickness
13. Ensure all information, including personal data is handled appropriately in line with Data Protection/GDPR legislation, Departmental policy and branch procedures.
14. Establishing and maintaining close and effective working relationships between Finance, Contract, Development/Project Teams, and wider DAERA business areas; & Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required by the line manager, including minute taking at monthly team brief.
