The Role
* Preparing equipment and materials for practical Science lessons
* Supporting Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teaching across the department
* Ensuring laboratories are safe, clean, and well organised
* Managing stock levels and ordering equipment and materials as required
* Supporting health & safety procedures and risk assessments
* Assisting with the maintenance and safe disposal of chemicals and materials
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience working as a Science Technician or in a laboratory-based role
* A good understanding of laboratory safety and health & safety procedures
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and reliable approach to work
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* The legal right to work in the UK
