Sanctuary provide in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. Service Delivery Manager Hull - Covering North and East Yorkshire £40,415 - £42,542 per year 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm We have an excellent opportunity in Hull for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team. Working alongside eight other Service Delivery Managers, this role is situated within the Responsive Maintenance team who are responsible for providing responsive repairs to various Sanctuary properties across the North and North West of England. This is one of 9 Service Delivery Manager (SDM) posts and reports directly into the Assistant Regional Operations Manager. Managing a team of approximately 10 Operatives, a typical day consists of direct management of the team, providing support and guidance in line with Sanctuary processes and ensuring a high quality, efficient repairs service is provided for our customers. The role of Service Delivery Manager will include: Ensuring the effective management of the field engineers and technicians, to ensure that the correct level of suitably trained and experienced resources are available / on-site Managing the delivery of all our field-based works on behalf of Property Services to include regular monthly audits, checking of all aspects of documentation and physical remedial works for both self-delivery and subcontract works Supporting, monitoring and reviewing constantly, both self and sub-contractor delivery and performance and as required reviewing Risk Assessments and producing site specific written scheme Providing technical support to the field engineers and assist in improving business efficiency without compromising compliance Supporting the review of weekly engineers paperwork exceptions escalated by audits, and associated statutory certification for content, quality and compliance to mitigate any risk and maximise opportunity Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations Making recommendations to both the Health and Safety and Property Services teams on improvements to systems and mitigate any H&S or Business critical risks Skills and experiences: To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership) and NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted Proven experience analysing and diagnosing complex problems and implementing effective solutions Recent experience of undertaking a similar role, preferably within a building maintenance or facilities management environment Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling This role will involve driving on company business.
