Flourish - High Intensity CBT/EMDR Therapist
Calling all High Intensity CBT and EMDR Therapists. Our highly regarded Steps to Wellbeing services are recruiting for a New Role in our recently piloted Flourish service – part of the new Complex Trauma Pathway.
We are looking for people to bring energy, enthusiasm, and a high level of skills and experience. The role is based in North Dorset – Blandford, Sherborne and Shaftesbury, and Weymouth and Portland, with flexibility to work full or part‑time across these areas.
What is Flourish? A PTSD/Trauma pathway for patients who require more complex psychological interventions than previously available. Patients on the Flourish Pilot reported that their treatment has changed their lives and, in some instances, saved their life. 100% of patients in the pilot agreed they were able to manage their emotions and look forward to a more positive future.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one high intensity CBT or EMDR, alongside stabilisation and collaboration with Peer Specialists to deliver the Flourish care model for adults with symptoms of PTSD and C‑PTSD.
* Maintain good administrative, time‑management and communication skills.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working within the NHS or a similar organisation is highly desirable.
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (cost covered by the Trust).
