- £21.00 per hour Are you an experienced Head Chef looking for flexibility and variety? We are seeking a talented and adaptable chef to join our relief team, supporting multiple educational establishments across Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities Lead kitchen operations across different educational sites, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Prepare and deliver high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to educational settings.
Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen staff effectively.
Maintain allergen awareness and adhere to dietary requirements.
Uphold health & safety and safeguarding standards at all times.
Must-Have Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a similar environment.
Experience in cooking for children and understanding of school meal standards.
Enhanced DBS with Child Workforce, dated within the last 12 months (or willingness to renew).
Own transport and full UK driving licence
- essential due to mobility between schools.
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum).
Strong knowledge of allergen management and HACCP.
Ability to work independently and adapt to different kitchens and teams.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Desirable Previous experience in education catering.
Knowledge of special diets and nutritional standards for schools.
