Location: Etches Park Depot, Deadmans Road, Derby
12+ Month Initial Contract
Pay: £194.48 /day PAYE
£260.04 /day Umbrella
Hours: 8 Hours /day
40 Hours / Week
+ Opportunity for overtime, Paid at 1.25%
This role falls inside IR35 - payment via PAYE or Umbrella Company
Function of Role
Undertake corrective and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair of Hitachi rolling stock assets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform Scheduled Maintenance activities on the rolling stock in accordance with the vehicle maintenance instructions.
2. Undertake servicing and preparation of the rolling stock.
3. Undertake driving duties within depot confines in accordance with the depot operating procedures and instructions.
4. Actively participate in the ongoing continuous improvement activities for maintenance processes and maintenance procedures that support all depot and fleet activities.
5. Support the delivery of new trains and undertake the maintenance acceptance processes.
6. Ensure exam tasks are being completed in a timely manner, undertake basic fault rectification or repair when required.
7. Adherence to all health and safety processes and procedures.
