We are now looking for suitably qualified people to become freelance contracted End Point Assessors for the MOET apprenticeship standard.
We are particularly interested in assessing candidates in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical engineering.
Location: Remote/Hybrid - travel required to sites
Hours: Worker Contract, Freelance
The Role:
The Freelance End Point Assessor assesses candidates in the final stages of their apprenticeship, including a Knowledge Assessment, Practical Observation, and Technical Interview for Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technicians.
NOCN provides full training on internal quality assurance processes and assessment conduct.
Responsibilities:
* Assess apprentices against relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours during Work-Based Projects, Portfolios, and Professional Discussions/Panel Interviews as per the End Point Assessment plan.
* Upload assessment reports promptly, adhering to NOCN's service level agreements.
* Prepare for assessments efficiently and identify gaps in apprentices' KSBs.
* Build rapport with apprentices to facilitate optimal performance.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge through ongoing CPD in engineering disciplines.
* Represent NOCN professionally during assessments.
* Adhere to GDPR and data security practices.
* Moderate assessments conducted by other assessors following internal quality assurance procedures.
Role Requirements:
* Hold a Level 3 assessing qualification.
* Possess a Level 4 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
* Maintain relevant and current CPD in plant maintenance.
