Location: Northfleet (with flexible working)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, you will support and lead a team to deliver multiple projects, ensuring designs meet agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards. You will play a key role in both technical delivery and team management, contributing to business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Mechanical team across multiple projects
• Produce and review schematics, drawings, and designs using AutoCAD/Revit
• Ensure compliance with UK standards, CDM regulations, and best practice
• Carry out and review engineering calculations
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines
• Attend client meetings, workshops, and project reviews
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Respond to RFIs and technical queries effectively
• Support business development and identify new opportunities
• Provide line management and performance oversight of team members

About You

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• ACIBSE (MCIBSE desirable)
• Strong experience in building services design (8+ years or relevant combination)
• Proven project leadership experience
• Advanced knowledge of CAD/Revit and UK design standards
• Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
