Senior Support Worker - Burton Upon Trent

Key Duties:
* Provide high-quality, child-centred care in line with individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans
* Act as a positive role model for young people, promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive behaviour
* Lead shifts effectively, ensuring the smooth running of the home and continuity of care
* Support and mentor Support Workers, offering guidance, direction, and on-shift supervision
* Implement positive behaviour support and trauma-informed approaches to manage challenging behaviour safely and consistently
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times, in line with safeguarding policies and legislation
Requirements:
* Must have previous experience working as a Senior Support Worker in a children's residential home
* Level 3 in Children's and Young Adults
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and care regulations
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Flexible to work varied shifts, including on-call duties
