Davies Consulting is currently seeking a Accounts Receivable Manager to join its team on a FTC basis within our Finance Team in London.The opportunity:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function of a multi-national firm, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, effective management of customer accounts and ensuring adherence to financial controls.You will: Accounts Receivable Management:Supervise and lead the accounts receivable team.Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient accounts receivable processes.Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.Review and analyse aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions.Provide regular reporting to Managing Partners and peers.Coordinate with Practice Leads and Financial Planning teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.Invoicing and Billing:Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers by Accounts Receivables Team.Review billing processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.Address any billing inquiries or disputes in a prompt and professional manner.Cash Flow Management:Forecast cash flow based on accounts receivable projections.Collaborate with the wider finance team to develop strategies for improving cash flow.Implement procedures to accelerate the collection process and avoid bad debts.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and peers to facilitate timely payments.Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding billing and payment issues.Reporting and Analysis:Generate regular reports on accounts receivable performance.Analyse data to identify trends and patterns in payment behaviour.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of accounts receivable metrics.Your experience:Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software namely QuickBooks and Sage 50.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities.Strong Excel experience.Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
