You’ll inspire and guide a dedicated team, maintaining the highest standards of luxury while fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the day-to-day operation of a large housekeeping team, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness and comfort.
* Conduct daily briefings with your team, highlighting VIP arrivals and setting goals to drive excellence.
* Regularly inspect guest rooms to guarantee flawless presentation and create unforgettable guest moments.
* Work closely with other hotel departments to deliver seamless service across the guest journey.
* Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to your team, supporting both quality outcomes and career growth.
* Collaborate with our in-house laundry team to keep operations smooth and efficient.
* Keep guests top of mind, tailoring the housekeeping service to meet their individual needs.
* Take responsibility for recruiting, training, and nurturing new talent within the department.
* Manage payroll, budgets, and forecasts effectively.
* Safeguard and manage lost-and-found procedures with diligence.
* Keep up-to-date with competitor standards to maintain our competitive edge.
* Perform additional duties as required to support the team and hotel success.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
* A warm, approachable, and caring personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
* A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a Housekeeping Management role, with a track record of delivering high standards.
* Strong ability to anticipate guest needs and consistently provide a professional, welcoming service.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy operation effectively.
