This is a hands-on role where you will support the day-to-day catering operation, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality food and service to all staff and guests. You will be involved in food preparation, service delivery, and hospitality support, ensuring all services run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in maintaining excellent customer service, while ensuring full compliance with food safety, allergen management, and health and safety procedures. This role suits someone who is organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment, with a strong focus on delivering a positive client experience. What you'll do: Deliver outstanding customer service to all staff and visitors Support the Head Chef in food preparation, presentation, and service Ensure all catering and hospitality services meet company standards Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management Assist with stock ordering and ensure timely delivery of supplies Oversee end-of-day procedures and ensure cleaning standards are met Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Support with hospitality and special events, including out-of-hours functions Promote a positive company image at all times Report incidents and ensure compliance with health & safety procedures Assist with staff training and development where required What you'll bring: Food Safety Level 3 (or above) qualification Strong knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good organisational and time management skills Why Sodexo?: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
