A well-established Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis in North Devon.

The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing projects safely, on programme and within budget
* Leading Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors
* Developing and maintaining project programmes
* Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings
* Overseeing quality assurance, ITPs and project documentation
* Monitoring project performance, risks and opportunities
* Working closely with commercial teams to ensure effective cost control
* Coordinating design, temporary works and construction activities
* Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering
* Strong background delivering infrastructure, flood alleviation, earthworks, drainage, highways or environmental projects
* Experience managing projects under NEC contracts
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and programme management experience
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams
Qualifications
* HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
* SMSTS
* CSCS Card
* First Aid at Work
