Project Coordinator (Health Communications & User Testing)
Location: Broughton (near Skipton) - hybrid with work-from-home opportunities.
Contract: Permanent, part-time (22.5 hours per week); flexible hours across the working week.
As a project coordinator, you will support the design, delivery, and administration of health communication and usability/user-testing projects.
The Project Coordinator ensures that research is delivered in line with client expectations, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and research participants.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support (65%)
* Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
* Track and monitor progress; flag risks or issues early.
* Help prepare internal reports, client updates, and presentations.
* Support preparation of proposals, quotations, and documentation.
* Maintain accurate project records, trackers, and audit trails.
* Conduct data entry and quality checks.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
* Support budget tracking and invoice preparation with the finance team.
Participant recruitment & management (c. 10%)
* Screen, recruit, and schedule participants for studies.
* Communicate with participants before, during, and after sessions.
* Manage incentives and follow-up communications.
* Liaise with external recruitment partners and maintain participant databases.
* Ensure inclusion, diversity, and representativeness in recruitment.
Logistics & coordination (c. 15%)
* Arrange venues, travel, and technical setups for research sessions.
* Support moderators and researchers during set-up and debriefs.
* Manage materials, version control, and shipment (e.g., leaflet versions, devices).
Quality assurance & governance (c. 5%)
* Ensure study protocols are followed accurately.
* Support ethical submission and documentation processes.
* Maintain audit readiness and quality assurance records.
Stakeholder communication (c. 5%)
* Liaise with internal teams (design, editorial, usability).
* Communicate with clients, vendors, and research partners.
* Build positive working relationships with participants and external stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience in recruitment, coordination, or customer-facing roles.
