Due to the expansion of our Critical Care services and bed capacity, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our senior nursing team for Critical Care at BHRUT. This is an opportunity to help shape the direction of one of the largest ITU facilities in North East London.
The role is a mixture of clinical and managerial responsibilities with a strong focus on delivering first‑class care that is safe and of high quality.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver safe, efficient, and effective patient care
* Provide professional leadership to all nursing staff
* Line‑manage designated staff
* Meet key quality and performance indicators
* Drive and achieve service improvement initiatives
* Meet financial plans and targets
* Work across organisational boundaries to achieve the Trust's objectives and deliver relevant local, regional and national standards and strategies
* Rotate across units within the service on an annual basis and support bed and staffing coordination when required
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
* Adult Registered Nurse (RN)
* Degree in a related field (critical care)
* MSc in a relevant subject (evidence of working towards)
Experience / Knowledge
* Nursing leadership experience at a senior level
* Demonstrable successful management of patient flow
Skills / Abilities
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
