We are recruiting for a passionate and skilled KS2 SEND Teacherto join aprimary school SEND Hub in Burton upon Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference for pupils with a range of special educational needs in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils within the KS2 SEND Hub.
* Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.
* Use a range of strategies to support pupils with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to ensure holistic support.
* Track and assess progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and colleagues.
* Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies and a consistent approach.
* Contribute to EHCP reviews and follow statutory SEND guidance.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)– essential.
* ProvenSEND teaching experiencein a primary setting.
* Understanding of a range of SEND needs and the ability to adapt teaching accordingly.
* Positive, resilient, and adaptable approach.
