The role involves supporting credit risk management across the Group's lending activities, focusing on analyzing recovery information for Partners and Advisers, including underwriting new lending proposals. The goal is to ensure effective recovery of amounts lent through the Partner Lending Scheme, involving over 1,000 borrowing Partner businesses.
The individual will collaborate with various teams to provide detailed analysis for informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
What you'll be doing:
* Work with the Partner Finance team to analyze income, project recoveries, and assess feasibility of recovery plans to minimize credit losses.
* Approve new lending requests based on knowledge of SJP products, policies, and responsible lending principles.
* Manage data and income analysis processes for debt recovery, including obtaining income data, assessing recoverability, creating recovery plans, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
* Monitor ongoing recovery plans and communicate with stakeholders to ensure progress.
* Participate in Recovery Forums and maintain data for reporting and follow-up actions.
* Provide cover for the Recovery Management Specialist, managing requests and administration related to recovery.
* Have experience in lending, financial services, or legal industries, with understanding of different borrowing entities.
* Possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with partners at all levels.
