Overview
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and visionary Assistant Head Teacher – Teaching & Learning to lead and drive forward the College’s academic standards, pedagogy and learning culture. This is a pivotal role within the senior leadership team, with responsibility for ensuring the highest quality of teaching and the development of a stimulating, inclusive, and innovative learning environment. We welcome applications from candidates in either the state or independent sectors and with any subject background.
You will be an experienced classroom practitioner who understands the key principles of cognitive science and can apply them to your own practice. You will need to be able to inspire and motivate other teachers to develop their approaches, recognising that some will need more support and structure than others. You will have a proven track record of successful leadership at middle leadership or the whole school level.
