Salary: £70,000–£80,000 basic + Bonus

About the Company
Wedo is collaborating with a fast-growing, private-equity-backed FinTech company that has expanded rapidly in recent years. The company recently acquired a multi-billion-pound credit card portfolio and, under the strategic leadership of a new CEO, is set for substantial growth in 2025.
Their vision is to offer innovative consumer finance solutions in partnership with leading consumer brands. With around 200 employees, including 70 in tech, the product team is expanding from 10 to 13 members, and they are now looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to help drive delivery excellence across engineering.
About the Role
As Technical Delivery Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring fast, efficient, and predictable delivery across multiple cross-functional teams. You’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating workstreams across QA, Platform, Data, Engineering, and Mobile – all within a high-growth, startup-style environment.
The company is not looking for sweeping, top-down change – instead, they value someone who can implement small, regular, and effective changes that continuously improve how teams operate.
You’ll work closely with product managers, technical leads, and engineers to allocate resources, identify inefficiencies, and make practical delivery enhancements that keep the team moving forward. Your voice will matter – they want someone who’s firm but fair, who isn’t afraid to speak up, challenge assumptions, and hold people accountable in a constructive way.
About You
You’re an experienced delivery manager with a strong track record of working across startups or fast-paced digital environments. You’ve delivered successfully across a range of technical teams – including QA, Platform, Data, Engineering, and Mobile – and understand how to get the best from each.
You bring clarity and structure to chaos, and you're confident enough to challenge teams or stakeholders when needed – always with fairness and a focus on outcomes. You understand that improving delivery is often about iteration, not revolution, and you take pride in spotting small tweaks that lead to big improvements over time.
You should be confident with:
* Agile delivery (particularly Kanban over Scrum)
* Multi-team coordination in a technical environment
* Driving incremental improvements without disrupting momentum
* Leading delivery within early-stage or scaling businesses
A background in platform, engineering, or data would be beneficial, but it’s your delivery mindset and your ability to keep cross-functional teams aligned that matters most.
